Recently, I took my search for Leacock online – and discovered that Amazon India offers a number of his collections, but the print versions are quite exorbitantly priced. Finally, I came across this second-hand copy of Penguin’s anthology of Stephen Leacock, which seemed like a good bargain.

I have no regrets about deciding to buy this book/5(6). Stephen Leacock was born in Swanmore, Hampshire, England, in His family emigrated to Canada in and settled on a farm north of Toronto. Educated at Upper Canada College and the University of Toronto, Leacock pursued graduate studies in economics at the University of Chicago, where he studied under Thorstein Veblen.
